A partial work around to updating table formatting is using a macro that re- applies a table AutoFormat. However there are a few bugs in creating the AutoFormats: - Text flow - disallow table to split across pages is NOT retained - Text flow - Vertical alignment is not retained. - ...may be some more I have not tested all. I appreciate the enormous task of introducing table styles (requested for some 5 years now).
