The extension manager displays the following message in German OOo version if 
an 
extension update was successful:
"Es sind keine Fehler aufgetreten." (roughly translated to English: "No errors 
occurred.")

The first word that catches your eye in that message is "Fehler" (error), which 
immediately leads to the impression that an error must have occurred. Only when 
reading the message a second time, you realize that the update was actually 
successfully completed.
Therefore, I would suggest to change the message to something like:
"Die Aktualisierung war erfolgreich." (i.e. "Update completed successfully")
