2010 -------
Nailed down to special circumstances:
- Delete user settings directory -> like first start of office
- start office
- call Preferences 'Tools-Options'
- go to language settings - writing aids
- in the listbox there is just 'Mac OS X
Spellchecker'
-> thus thesaurus will not work
- restart office
- Tools options entries look much better, since there are more.
Now I'm looking when it was introduced;
worked in DEV300m75...
