Everything is as it should be because:
a) the availability of localized files in a language pack does not imply that
there must be a native dictionary as well. We also have other languages build
with no native linguistic see Chinese, Korean, Japanese or Arabic.
b) according to solenv/inc/postset.mk the locale for Ukrainian builds is 'uk'
and if we check for this in
setup_native/source/packinfo/spellchecker_selection.txt we see that 'uk' is not
listed at all. Thus no extension dictionary is included in regular 'uk' builds.
Considering that the existence of the en-US dictionaries in the build are either
by chance/default or it is a bug that those are included.
c) even if spellchecker_selection.txt would have an entry for 'uk' it currently
would be required to be set to uk = "EMPTY,en-US" (meaning only an en-US
dictionary will be included) because we don't even have a Ukrainian dictionary
extension in our source code!
Therefore if we should add a Ukrainian dictionary to the 'uk' build (and thus to
the language pack as well) someone first needs to file an issue that Ukrainian
dictionaries should be included and provide the link(s) to the respective
extensions. When that is done MH needs to initial the legal review of the
licenses in the extensions, and only then we can add those extension(s) to our
source code and to the native builds and language pack.
Thus someone should file such an issue and assign it to MH, if legal approval
gets obtained then the issue will be assigned to me and only then I am allowed
to add the dictionaries.
Because of all the above I'm setting this one to invalid.
