I also can confirm effects from comments from lancerkind Sat Aug 14 for view in
MS WORD VIEWER, but not in OOo; please see my screenshots with comments.
Someone with more experience should decide whether those different effects have
same roots or different ones.

Did you create your document only using OOo or has it also been edited with
other software?
Can you please try to find a way how to reproduce the problem with a new
document and very few steps?
