I agree with the recent manager (GtkPicker in fpicker) does something similar,
although it uses the uri transformation service for that.
However setTitle I'm unsure about. Currently if I log on in iso8859-15 and have
an iso encoded filename "fnörp.txt", then the title actually gets fnörp.txt. I
wonder whether this still works if I change the encoding. I'll give it a try.
