External links data saved with a .ods file badly handle single quotes.

When opening a .ods file containing linked data from an external .ods file, if I
don't "update external links", linked data containing a single quote (') is
truncated (only the part after the quote is displayed). If I "update external
links", it is correct again.

Example :
I have a customer.ods file containing information on my customers.
I have a invoice.ods file containing an invoice for that customer, using a
customer code, and all customer information (name, address, etc.) is looked up
for in my customers.ods file.

if my customer name is "Single'Quote", when I open my invoice.ods and don't
update external links the name cell contains "Quote". If I update external
links, the name is correct again "Single'Quote".
If I save the file while it is correct, close it and open it again without
updating external links, it is incorrect and truncated ("Quote"). If I change
the customer code to an other one whose name also contains a single quote, it
will also be truncated the same way.
If I update links, all customer codes will work as expected with or without
quotes.

=> It seems either the external data stored with the file is incorrect, or the
retrieving of this data is incorrectly handles single quotes.

==> WARNING: if this is a lack of sanitization, there might be a possible
security hole in the code handling the stored data.

I have seen this issue since more than a year on different ubuntu versions from
9.04 or earlier to 10.04, and the corresponding OO versions. I have updated to
3.2.1 from the repository (after uninstalling ubuntu 3.2.0 version) and the
problem is still present.
I have not tested on windows or other platforms.
