------- Additional comments from [email protected] Fri Aug 20 07:57:14 +0000 2010 ------- On Mac OSX, open 'Preferences/Options/Language Settings - Writing Aids' and press the top-most 'Edit' button. You will now see a list of languages in the list box, but some entries occur multiple times and other entries are listed as unknown. This is because the locales supported by the Mac OSX spell checker get added to this list. And when that locales are not know by OOo they get either matched to already listed languages or are are displayed as unkown.
