I cannot reproduce this problem (tested in network here). The fact, that it
works on one machine and on the other not (inside your network) makes me assume
that the driver used on the machine without direct access to printer uses a
wrong or defective driver.
BTW: on your scan, I can't see missing characters - more these are erroneously
inserted spaces by printing process.
