OS: Ubuntu 10.04
Open Office Used: OOo 3.2 (Ubuntu Version)
File Formats Tested: AIF audio, AU audio, MIDI, mp3, ogg. wav
Accepted Special Characters in filename for Ubuntu: All special characters
except / and .(makes the file hidden)
Summary: It fails in playing the file for the formats specified by the above bug
report: ü,ö or ä


OS: Windows 7
Open Office Used: 3.2.1 Stable version and 3.3.0 Beta
File Formats Tested: AIF audio, AU audio, MIDI, mp3, ogg. wav
Some of the accepted Special Characters in filename: %,ü,ö, ä
Summary: It fails in loading a sound file with filename %

1. Open OpenOffice Impress and click on Insert Menu
2. Select Movie and Sound option
3. Browse and select a file with filename % (Use the file attached for the
purpose, you can also use any file named as %)

- You will see an error message saying file format not supported

Testing with Microsoft Powerpoint: It was possible to insert the same file in a
powerpoint slide
