What you say is true, yet it is strange that the same document works with
1.1.3, so there must be something wrong, if it works with 1.1.3, but not with
2.0 beta.
I reopen the bug because of the following:
When one opens a new document in Calc, then uses the print-preview to set the
size of the page to be printed, OO adjusts the scaling from 100% in the format
page sheet to, e.g. 48%. If one prints the document, everything is as
expected.
However, if one changes the height/width of some rows/columns, the 48% are not
changed, which is a bug.
In the first step, the user did not set a scaling, but a print range, yet OO
translated it into a scaling to fit the page. Thus, in the second step, i.e.
when the content within the range is changed, OO has to change the scaling
again to fit the page. Otherwise the user would have to change the scaling
back to 100% each time s/he changes the height/width of the table.
I do not know what changed from 1.1.3 to 2.0 beta regarding this feature, yet
as 1.1.3 scales the table correctly before printing, although the same table
height/width is saved to the document, it seems, that is re-calculates the
scaling before printing/exporting to fit the page.
I hope one can follow my thoughts.
