-Tested with .wmf and .emf files

-If the above formats are inserted into a .odp presentation, and cropped, they
appear properly in the editor window, but are defective in 'Slide show' and when
exporting as a .pdf

-In Impress, insert picture from file or drag .emf or .wmf file into window

-crop the image in Impress

-When cropped and viewed in a slide show, the 'removed' area of the image
appears and the 'retained' area is invisible, or partly missing (some artefacts
may remain).

-If the presentation is exported to a .pdf, the same problems occur as in the
slide show.

-.emf files exported from Scilab 4.1.2
-.wmf files exported from AutoCAD 2002

-This problem was not present in an up-to-date verion of OpenOffice.org at the
beginning of December 2009.

-Another user has experienced the same problem in Vista

-Attached file: an example of this problem with a .emf and a .wmf file
