------- Additional comments from [email protected] Wed Sep 8 22:51:32 +0000 2010 ------- i entered in cell B1 the following: =ADDRESS(COLUMN(),ROW()) (for a simple column, row value swapping. returns desired absolute value: $A$2) i enter into D1 the following: =INDEX(ADDRESS(COLUMN(),ROW())) and get error 504. if i however enter into E1 the following: =INDEX($A$2) which is the return value of the ADDRESS function, i get the correct value return for that cell. ($A$2) --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
