Create an empty presentation. 2. Add a slide that accepts text entry 3. Enter a sentence of text 4. Double-click on the first word,keep the mouse button pressed after the second click. 5. Drag mouse over the next word 6. Observe that the next word is not highlighted I followed this up by testing other mouseover word functionality: * moving words by holding the mouse button over one word to another * highlighting words by using ctrl+shift+ right arrow * highlighting words in a row/ multiple lines by holding the left mouse button and scrolling over the words I found that all of these followup tests showed successful results. However, I was able to generalize the original bug to be unable to highlight any other words in a two line paragraph. A more generalized set of replication steps: 1. Create an empty presentation. 2. Add a slide that accepts text entry 3. Enter any desirable amount of text, with at least one space delimiting a word. 4. Double-click on the first word,keep the mouse button pressed after the second click. 5. Drag mouse over to any desired word other than the highlighted word 6.
