Sometimes, after the user clicks No in a debug output dialog box, OOo
fails to repaint part of the area occupied by the dialog box. The
following steps seem to make this happen with a non-product build of
DEV300_m87 running in the gnome desktop on Ubuntu Hardy.

(*) Start OOo. The program presents the window OpenOffice.org(tm) 3.

(*) Type alt-D to create a new text document. The program displays
    empty document Untitled 1.

(*) Type ctrl-alt-N to insert a comment. The program displays debug
output dialog box with message "sentence indices out of range", as
described in issue 114579. Attachment coming soon is an image
    including the dialog box.

(*) Type alt-N to ignore the raised assertion. The program removes
much but not all of the dialog box. Attachment coming soon is an
image including the remaining pieces of the dialog box.

It seems that this behaviour is highly dependent upon user actions.
For example, continuing on from this point in execution ...

(*) Close the document. The program presents a dialog box warning
that the document has not been saved.

(*) Type alt-D to discard changes to the document. The program
    presents the window OpenOffice.org(tm) 3.

(*) Type alt-D to create a new text document. The program displays
    empty document Untitled 1.

(*) Type ctrl-alt-N. The program displays debug output dialog box
with message "sentence indices out of range".

(*) Type alt-N. The program removes all of the dialog box.

But continuing further ...

(*) Close the document. The program presents a dialog box warning
that the document has not been saved.

(*) Type alt-D to discard changes to the document. The program
    presents the window OpenOffice.org(tm) 3.

(*) Type alt-D to create a new text document. The program displays
    empty document Untitled 1.

(*) Type ctrl-alt-N. The program displays debug output dialog box
with message "sentence indices out of range".

(*) Give focus to another program, for example an instance of emacs
like the one in which I am preparing this very message <grin />.

(*) Give focus to OOo.

(*) Type alt-N. The program removes much but not all of the dialog
    box.

I have searched the issues database for "repaint window" (all
words/strings).  The closest match I see is 30671 "Frame::dispose()
leads to some repaint errors within the las". It differs from my
situation in that (a) it refers specifically to scroll bars and
buttons of toolbars, and (b) in my case minimize/maximize corrects the
issue.
