Manually adding the file to D:\Documents and Settings\[name with æ,ø, or å]\Application Data\OpenOffice.org\3\user\wordbook, the user dictionary works without any problems. Is the path to the user dictionaries stored in any file in OOo? PS. This was not a problem in versions prior to OOo 3.
