The problem was triggered by session management which occurs in an own thread in
the genric plugin; this thread was not shut down properly since KApplication
builds up its own ICE connection. This got really apparent when i deleted the
KApplication object which was up to now leaked. The memory corruptions seems to
be caused by KApplication being fed ICE events in two different threads.
