I have a very large file that contains text as well as graphics. I have tried
to discover what, if anything in particular, causes this problem, but to no
avail. After making modifications and additions to the file, usually several
lines that were tabbed to the first tab position will have dropped the tab
wherein the line will be against the left margin. These lines always contain
the letter C as the first character.

Example:
Standard temperature and pressure values for sea level
        C. 15°C / 59°F and 29.92” Hg.

will end up being:
Standard temperature and pressure values for sea level
C. 15°C / 59°F and 29.92” Hg.

(Note: I did not use a tab in the above example.)
Please fix this, I'm beginning to hate the letter C.
  Thanks for your great product!
