------- Additional comments from [email protected] Tue Nov 2 03:27:41 +0000 2010 ------- When I import a monthly CSV file from my long distance provider, the date string does not get imported correctly anymore. The PM shown in the import preview gets lost. A sample line from the comma delimited CSV looks like: 10/2/2010 02:56:04 PM,1234567890,1234567890,State,123,1.23 During the Import review, If I leave the column set to Standard, the above date gets imported as a string, which is not sortable. 10/19 comes before 10/2. If I set the column type to "Date (M/D/Y)" it Does show in the preview as: 10/2/2010 02:56:04 PM so it appears to be seeing it correctly? Either that or the preview window has been dumbed down... But after clicking OK for the import, the cell now contains: 10/02/2010 02:47:47 which now gets sorted before 12:53:08 This behavior has changed from 3.1, when it correctly identified the date on it's own, and imported correctly.
