These "unwanted" styles MUST remain, because they are created as a bridge
between .doc format and Writer (as you alreqady suggested, WW hints to Winword).
In some aspects, Writer and Word work much differently and so some attributes
must be depicted as styles in OO Writer (e.g. special formattings in numberings
from Word). So if you do a roundtrip Writer in .doc format, these styÃes will
always be re-created by writer when reopening such document.
