------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon May 2 06:00:08 -0700 2005 ------- I installed open office 1.9.95 another computer I use. It is also a gentoo linux machine, a custom built AMD athlon 64 FX box running in a 32-bit environment. Following those steps I posted, I formatted the document but only typed three lines of text. I stopped because the header information disappeared so I tried to save and it crashed. On a side note, I use the Utopia font if that could possibly make a difference. I have set is as default in both open office installs. I tried the [save as] of a current document but it did not crash or lose header information when information was added. As I said in my first post, it only happens with new documents that have no file on the hard drive. Modifying even the blank document that gets created in the crash doesn't lead to another crash. Because of this, I don't think I can provide you with a document one or two steps before the crash. If there is still a misunderstanding about the setup of the file, I could post an example but I don't believe the example could be used to see the crash. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
