------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon May 2 07:26:06 -0700 2005 ------- I want to use a calc file as a data source to make labels. However, adding a calc file as a data source is not easy. From the Data Sources explorer, there is no add button. From the Labels wizard, there is no add button. I had to start a mail merge and select an address source from there in order to add a Calc file. >From the Options -> Openoffice.org Base -> Databases menu there is also no option to add Calc files. Yet, once I can find a way to add the file, I can eventually use the data. Since I believe that lots of people use spreadsheets for address information rather than databases, it should be easier to add the Calc files as data sources. There should be a button for it from the Data Sources explorer. There should be a button for it in the Label wizard. And I think something should be done to move the Openoffice.org Base menu option to something that makes more sense given that Calc files can and should be data sources in addition to having databases as data sources. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
