More debugging shows that the paramErr==-50 is returned when the available
space is less than 1.000
pixels. As soon as the available width is increased to >=1.000 the error code
immediately changes to
kATSULineBreakInWord==-8808 which would also make sense for 0<=width<1.0.
Anyway, now that the
problem is fully understood the solution is clear. Done in CWS.
