Thanks! tl->hamaryns: The formulas embedded in the document are MathType objects those can't be edited directly in OOo with Linux. And even with Windows it can only be done up to MathType 3.1. Thus since the objects in the document are MathType 5.0 equation it can not be done unless you have MathType 5.0 (or higher) installed.
