ah, finally somebody filed the issue :)
this is already tracked in issue 112395, but you would never guess that from its
description :)
because os just re-opened the code cleanup issue that introduced
the regression instead of filing a new issue.
so i am not closing this one here as duplicate, but i'll add it to the CWS.
it's a regression in m92, already fixed in CWS os144.
btw, it may also crash in product versions, but not always.
