I don't think having to repeatedly press Ctrl-Shift-R while I am editing a
document is an acceptable long-term solution.
I don't think "there's nothing wrong with Open Office" is a reasonable
conclusion when you can't immediately reproduce this in your environment.
I do not get this problem with _any_ other application (least of all MS Word).
Therefore I cannot conclude that the cause lies outside of Open Office
("...theme, memory..."), otherwise other applications would be affected.
Surely there is a way to work out why Open Office is "painting" the screen in a
particular way?
