------- Additional comments from [email protected] Mon Dec 6 21:22:53 +0000 2010 ------- I just tried opening this file: http://swdb.berkeley.edu/pub/data/G08/state/state_g08_voters_by_g08_rgprec.dbf The file is voter information organized by census tract (open information provided by University of California, Berkeley). If you try to open it with OpenOffice 3.2 or 3.3 RC7 it fills up over 4 Gigs of RAM, opening it in MS Office is fast so I know it's not the file. Also saving the file as a XLS or ODS within MS Office and then opening it with OOo is quick so it is a memory leak issue with dbf files. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
