Not sure we have an interest in tracking what happens when importing (already?)
corrupted user profiles and why they are corrupted (difference between a bug and
an "accident", cost/gain balance between effort investigating 1 single case and
the output of the investigation...).
It seems that a non native (?) OOo extension which is corrupt is involved .
It might be interesting to see why the the extension manager doesn't detect this
corruption.
But now we are far away from the original report concerning Writer.
This could be a Framework issue.
BTW: it's ok to cut "data loss" from the summary when it's about a crash -> we
assume the data loss. The recovery is a nice feature but not a guarantee you
won't have a data loss.
@TM: a corrupt extension which can be installed and might corrupt OOo.
