------- Additional comments from [email protected] Mon Dec 13 15:10:31 +0000 2010 ------- This looks similar to Issue 111320, which apparently has been fixed in 3.2? I am using build 9505. I loaded an originally Powerpoint file to Impress, created a few slides and some had new graphics pasted in (JPG's) and saved the file as PPT 97-2000 format. When opening the file in Powerpoint 2007, I get an error that some slides are corrupt and have been replaced with blank slides. They are the first one I created with new images and the slide immediately following it, which was not changed and is just text in boxes. The remaining slides with added images appear to work fine. I closed Powerpoint without saving and the file opens fine with Impress. I copied the slide into a new Impress file, saved it as ppt 97-2000 and Powerpoint again failed to open it. If I remove the three images from the slide using Impress and save it as ppt 97-2000, then Powerpoint can successfully open the file. If I leave any of the images on the slide, it fails to open in PPT07. Because I have to share these files with others who use Powerpoint 2007, I have no choice but to save using ppt format. So for now, I am stuck using Powerpoint.
