My C: drive is NTFS, and that's where the program resides, and my D: drive where the data resides is FAT32 Might this be the issue? I just tried it in calc and the same problem seems to occur. Loaded a spreadsheet from a couple of directories down, and voila, calc froze up on me the same way.
