It looks, that the text recieved the character format as hard attribute before
the style has been changed. Open the document, Select all (Ctrl-A) and choose
"Format.Default Formatting" from menu. Then make the change of the font size in
the style now. The new attribute will now be correctly assigned to the text and
will also persist after file has been saved and reopened.
