I cannot see the issue. Maybe you have a problem that the OpenSymbol font cannot
be found on your system. Maybe you should copy the Opensymbol font from the
openoffice.org/basis3.3/share/fonts/truetype to the system's font directory (see
also issue 113586).
Or the opensymbol font from your distri's OOo installation is defective.
