The main section of a UNO component JAR META-INF/MANIFEST.MF must contain
certain attributes (like RegistrationClassName and UNO-Type-Path). At least
with jarsigner from the Solaris Intel JDK 1.5.0_06, it appears that calling
"jarsigner <jar> <alias>" to sign a JAR completely overwrites the JAR's existing
META-INF/MANIFEST.MF, thus effectively dropping the relevant UNO component
attributes from the main section.
@cfries: Please make sure that your signed jar does contain the relevant
attributes.
