I have used OpenOffice for quite a while and created several important documents with Writers and Calc (your version of Excel). Somehow the appplication no longer responds and I cannot open it (use it) and or read/work with the docs I have already created (Open with...). I tried to "repair" OpenOffice with Wizard but it says that the website is not responding. So, I uninstalled the application and tried to download OpenOffice again. I get the message that there is already an OpenOffice 3.2 installed on my computer...But it doesn't work! VERY FRUSTRATING! What am I supposed to do as I do not want to lose or compromise the documents created early on?? I have a PC with Vista system and mostly use IE as browser. As you can tell I am not very "tech" oriented... Please HELP!!! Thanks!
