Cannot reproduce the problem with OOo 3.3 on WinXP.
On which system do you deploy OOo? do you use "file open" dialog from OOo or the
system's (see Tools.Options.OpenOffice.General?
do you work with OOo downloaded from openoffice.org or perhaps the one from a
Linux distribution?
