What's already implemented is pretty good. Many of the images (graphic drawings) that I include in documents are complicated, having lots of details. If I change out an entire image, then the current giant change bar is appropriate. But, if I change a letter or number inside the image (and there are many letters and numbers!), then it will be hard for the reader to find the change(s). I propose that an image have the option of having two versions, one to display when Changes are displayed, and another to display when changes are not shown. It would be up to me to generate my with-and-without changes images to highlight my changes. Don't worry about the two images not having the same size and how that affects the page display.
