------- Additional comments from [email protected] Sat Jan 22 21:05:27 +0000 2011 ------- I am using OpenOffice 3.3 - RC 9 - Writer - to edit a manuscript in .odt format. During this process I am hitting SAVE every time I make a change since this is a very lengthly file. At random times when I try to save the file, I get the error: OpenOffice.org 3.3 Error saving the document. Access to file name and location.odt was denied. Sometimes it will repeat the same error 3 or 4 times before eventually saving the file. I use Windows 7 Home Premium - 64 bit. This error seems isolated only to OpenOffice and LibreOffice. I do not have this problem when performing a SAVE in MS Word 2007, Jarte Plus, Word Pad or Notepad. The temporary solution to this problem has been to shut down my security program: Microsoft Security Essentials. Thus, it is apparent there is a conflict between OpenOffice 3.3 RC 9 (and LibreOffice, as well) and MS Security Essentials. Note: this problem exists in OO3.3 RC 10, as well. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
