The current example is on an Intel Core 2 Duo E4600 @ 2,4 GHz with 2 GB RAM and Win XP (which I deem sufficient for office use), using OOO330m20 Build 9567 with DE/EN/FR/IT installed. Since I write technical documentation I have to use an user dictionary currently containing 169 words in 11084 bytes -- not sooo many. I prepared the attached German plain document by first accepting all (quite hilarious) spell checker suggestions and then inserting two typos. When I start the spell checker, it shows the empty frame for 4 seconds. After ignoring the first suggestion, it takes two seconds to show any reaction and find the next typo. Now these four and two seconds would pose no real problem. But with an actual document of just 19 pages and 4219 words and no remaining errors, but needing my user dic, OOo shows the empty frame and seems to freeze for 45 seconds! --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
