it's not a bug, it's a feature ;-)
there is an automatism to replace specific input while typing, here it's to
replace "1/2" with "½", it's the same with "1/4" or 3/4"
you can turn this off via menu "Tools - AutoCorrect Options - Replace", just
delete the line with the 1/2 item
this feature exists also in the other applications
