I found the problem: The glyph outlines are perfectly fine, the problem happens
when they are to be displayed the stroke polygon is converted to an area polygon
and one of the joins had the property that the left and the center point were
almost equal. A normalization step on the difference vector failed because it
noticed that it cannot be normalized. But it didn't reset the values either. So
with these crap values the joining polygon was constructed which led to the
artifacts.
