My point was that I didn't look at any error messages when Base crashed since it happens all the time, so I don't have any specifics on messages generated at the moment of the crash. It crashed, it said it recovered, the screen came up with an empty Base document. I closed it and then immediately tried to reopen it, to see if that would fix it.
