text:a has the attributes style:style-name and style:visited-style-name. Those 
should point to the 
corresponding styles. Format.Character affects the text inside the link and 
will produce a text:span 
element.

"Internet Link" and "Visited Internat Link" appear in the list of styles the 
user can see. The user can modify 
them, in a template for example. This possibility makes no sense if the styles 
are not associated with the 
generated text:a elements, because the document is not portable. The 
consequence of what you say is that 
"Internet Link" and "Visited Internet Link" should not be available to the user.
