SBA: The old behavior "vanished" on purpose. See issue 20333 for details.
In my opinion, this is about "Editors vs. readers (of Writer documents)":
(1) The EDITOR prefers to keep on writing in the last position
(2) The READER prefers to read a document from the start.
I believe that "The BIG average" use of a Writer document is "More often read
than edited". Thus it makes sense to have a "reader friendly" default.
