When I highlight the * and change its possition to subscript nothing happens (but the form on which I hange form settings shows it worked). I can achive desired effect by changing the automatic settings (on the Possition tab). I'm using Draw 1.9.98-1 (polish version from http://www.ux.pl/openoffice/?page=download) on Windows XP (also polish).
