Tools -> Options -> Language Settings -> Language -> Language of User
Interface's dropdown menu shows language names of installed language packs.

ftp://ftp.linux.cz/pub/localization/OpenOffice.org/devel/680/SRC680_m100/Build-1/OOo_SRC680_m100_native_Win32Intel_langpacks/OOo_SRC680_m100_native_Win32Intel_langpack_sk.zip

Japanese UI:
Installing the Slovakian language pack above resulted in showing an entry
"ãã
ãè," "Czech" in Japanese, instead of "ãããããè," "Slovakian" in
Japanese,
in the dropdown menu.

English (USA) UI:
"Slovakian" and "Czech" entries show correctly in the dropdown menu.
