The file type garbage strings is fixed by issue 48165. The summary of that one
mentions a problem in German only, but it was a general tooling issue and I
verified the correct zh_CN strings in CWS in c01v006. -> That part of this issue
is duplicate and verified.
About the duplicate entries:
Works fine in a 680m102 on Cinnabar 26 and SUSE Linux 9.2 (locale zh_CN.UTF-8 in
both cases)

If you can reproduce this in the youngest tarSuite build, please reopen and tell
exactly what version of StarSuite (Build-ID, Single/Multi language) was
installed on what version of Cinnabar. Thank you.
