1) Copy/Pasting to a text editor is an enhancement: the outline numbering is a
format attribute. Thus it's not displayed in plain text. But OOo is able to
convert numberings to plain text when exporting to ASCII. One could which the
same for copy/paste.
Please write a new issue for this
2) write a new issue for the RTF problem.
3) Copy/Pasing into an other document: not a bug.
suppose 2 documents:
- A: with Heading 1 -> level 1 numbered
- B: with Heading 1 without outline numbering (default)
- copying from A to B would cause a conflict between 2 different formattings for
the same paragraph style. There are 3 ways to resolve the conflict:
1) Keep the pasted outline but as hard formatting, leaving Heading 1 without
outline numbering for the rest of the document
-> convert styles into hard formatting is a dirty hack.
2) apply the outline of the pasted selection to the Style of the target
document.
-> automatically change for this style would confuse the user.
3) ignore the outline while pasting and apply the attributes of the current
style.
-> that' the current behavior.
