I use OpenOffice.org 1.1.4 - binary installation on Gentoo Linux, and it is perfect. I have edited the whole Pessach-Haggada with Nikud (I took the Haggada text using cut&paste from http://he.wikisource.org/wiki/%D7%94%D7%92%D7%93%D7%94_%D7%A9%D7%9C_%D7%A4%D7%A1%D7%97 and I had no problem editing and printing (to pdf) the all document, full of voweled hebrew.
