If I read your comments correctly, the files are not present in the build_root
(/var/tmp/...) - is this correct?
Did you modify the redhat-package as well? - The freedesktop-spec uses the files
created using the build of the redhat-rpm so if you changed that...
The specfile expects the redhat files in
/home/rene/openoffice.org2-1.9.102/ooo-build/build/src680-m102/sysui/unxlngppc.pro/misc/redhat/
Plese check whether the files are in that directory.
If they are, then plese check whether there are any files in the build_root at
all (in /var/tmp/openofficeorg-freedesktop-menus-1.9.102-build<id>/)
If not, are they present in the build-dir
/home/rene/openoffice.org2-1.9.102/ooo-build/build/src680-m102/sysui/unxlngppc.pro/misc/freedesktop/BUILD/openofficeorg-freedesktop-menus-1.9.102-build<id>
If there are no files either, does "cp -a" work at all on this system?
