2005 -------
A friend of mine asked me for help on a document she could not reload, even
after installing 1.1RC.
Although, I cannot tell of any sequence of steps that has produced the
document, I found that it crashes
NeoOffice/J on Mac OS 10.4.1, 10.3.9 and also crashes OpenOffice 1.1.4 on
Windows 2000. Having
renamed it to .zip and extracted the components, I found that the content.xml
is mal-formed with
unpaired opening and closing tags, especially a <text:p> and some ruby related
tags.
I have posted the document on my website and you can consult it at the URL I
have attached.
The version used to create the document is: NeoOffice/J 1.1 alpha2 patch3, but
the crash on loading is
visible on all versions.
